Carol Kenudson and her husband went to Guam for one year and stayed for twenty. During this time Carol immersed herself in the flora and fauna of that beautiful tropical island in the Western Pacific. Her art adorned the covers of several magazines and was seen displayed in homes and business throughout the island.

While there she became active in the art community and over the years held five major art exhibits. Her work was always a favorite with the tourist and locals.

"Living and diving in the warm tropical water of Micronesia in the Western Pacific for many years where aquatic wildlife was prolific, a myriad of dazzling reef fish all around me. Among my favorites were the colorful clownfish seen here, which would dive headfirst into their protective anemone at the slightest hint of danger. We kept two very large saltwater aquariums which became miniature reefs where I could easily observe up close and personal many varieties of fish and invertebrates. Many of my drawings are on this theme. "
